BACKGROUND

In just under 4 years, Stephens Valley Church (SVC) has grown from a small Sunday evening Bible study in a Nashville area hotel meeting room, to a membership of over 600.  In early 2020, they moved into a beautiful new campus, just West of Nashville.  

The first phase of the church’s building plan called for worship services to be held in the Fellowship Hall and is where the bulk of our work-centered.  Future plans call for a sanctuary to be built adjacent to the new facility. 

‍DESIGN & PLANNING

Early in the building design process, SVC contacted Strata to provide audio, video and theatrical lighting systems for the new campus.  Strata worked with the church’s architect and general contractor during the 18-month long design and construction phases to ensure that all systems would integrate cleanly into the classical design of the building. 

‍RESULTS

The Fellowship Hall audio system includes Bose Show Match and Edge Max speakers and Bose amps and processing.  An Allen and Heath SQ 6 handles audio mixing. Shure ULX-D wireless along with Audix and AKG wired mics round out audio inputs.  A Williams Sound FM+ WiFI+FM assisted listening system is installed for ADA compliance. 

Video support is provided by a Blackmagic ATEM switcher, Digital Projection Laser projector, Vaddio PTZ cameras, and Samsung monitors.  An AJA HELO streams to the church’s YouTube channel.  

Theatrical lighting includes Martin ELP WW ellipsoidal fixtures controlled by an ETC ColorSource console.
